Pete Pretorius is a 2nd degree Black Belt Trainee Instructor at Cloverdale Black Belt Academy. In addition to being Canadian Champion in forms and sparring, he has also won numerous medals in track and field (he was 4th fastest in the World for the 400M hurdles when he was representing South Africa) and most recently won a silver medal in the 400M and a bronze medal in the 60M.
On July 11th, 2010, Pete Pretorius risked his life to save a man from drowning. On March 12th, 2011, Pete was awarded the Silver Medal for Bravery from the BC and Yukon Royal Lifesaving Society.
